Job Summary:
As a Jewelry Salesman, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting clients in selecting jewelry pieces, and driving sales in a retail environment. You will be knowledgeable about various types of jewelry, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, and watches, and will help
customers make informed purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assess customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable jewelry options.
• Provide detailed information about products, including materials, craftsmanship, and care instructions.
• Demonstrate jewelry pieces to customers, highlighting unique features and benefits.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.
• Stay informed about current jewelry trends, new arrivals, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and empathy.
• Participate in inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment.
• Assist in marketing efforts, such as social media promotions and in-store events.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for jewelry and fashion.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
