Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Account Management
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers, and store personnel.
• Drive sales growth by ensuring regular orders, optimal stock levels, and promotional visibility.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and suggest strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Negotiate shelf space, pricing, and in-store promotions to maximize brand presence.
2. Merchandising & Stock Management
• Ensure proper display of pet food products according to planograms.
• Regularly check stock levels, expiration dates, and product availability.
• Coordinate with store staff to avoid stockouts and overstock situations.
3. Promotions & Marketing Execution
• Implement promotional campaigns, such as discounts, bundle offers, and in-store activations.
• Train store employees on product benefits to enhance sales and customer engagement.
• Arrange point-of-sale (POS) materials and ensure brand visibility.
4. Reporting & Performance Analysis
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance per key account.
• Provide insights on sales trends, customer preferences, and market feedback.
• Prepare reports on competitor pricing, new product performance, and promotional effectiveness.
5. Collaboration & Coordination
• Work closely with the marketing team to align promotions with brand strategy.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Participate in meetings with key account managers to discuss business development opportunities.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience: 3+ years in FMCG sales, preferably in pet food or modern trade.
• Sales & Negotiation Skills: Ability to secure shelf space, negotiate promotions, and drive sales.
• Communication & Relationship-Building: Strong ability to engage with store managers and decision-makers.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze sales data and suggest strategies for growth.
• Pet Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Understanding of pet food trends and customer preferences.
