 afety Engineer – Cairo / Egypt
Code: 101/25
HSE Consultancy Company is strongly positioned as one of the leading HSE Consultancy services in the Middle East region, with three decades of experience providing HSE consulting services for projects of varying complexity and size in the Oil and gas, Power, Infrastructure and development, and other industrial sectors is looking for a dynamic Safety Engineer to join safety team in its new office in Cairo/Egypt.
The engineer will support high-level risk-related studies (PSM/ERP/ QRA / COMAH / QRA/ ERP/ FRA/ Safety Engineering Design).
Job description:
§  Support Qualitative and Quantitative analysis, and interpretation of the results of the analysis to provide meaningful data for clients.
§  Support the conduct of comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits for oil/gas and industrial operations, ensuring compliance with international standards.
§  Develop, implement, and monitor effective safety management systems, policies and procedures.
§  Analyse incident and accident reports, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
§  Preparation of numerical data for studies such as parts count, and inventory calculation.
§  Support using Consequence and frequency (Event Tree, Fault Tree) modeling using tools/software as required (PHAST, FRED etc.)
§  Support undertake EERA, ESSA, Bowties, and Performance standards.
§  Developing and writing reports.
 
Profile/Skills
§  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering  (chemical or petroleum is preferable).
§  3 – 5 years of experience.
§  Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or similar HSE credentials are highly desirable.
§  Excellent command of Arabic and English languages.
§  Excellent English report-writing skills.
§  Excellent communication and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
§  Good communication skills.
§  Open to travel within the Middle East region.
§  Attitude to learn and grow within the organization.
